China Rips Not Only iPhones, But Web-Designers, Too!

Trismedia, the website of Tris Hartanto, a member of WebPM, one of the mailing lists that I joined was recently ripped off by a Chinese company called Modest-Studio. This is a case where most likely, someone used a software that can download a website as a whole, and then claimed it as theirs. This is disgusting, this studio ripped off all of the site’s contents including the portfolio.
But all rippers are stupid, they are bound to make mistakes even for the cleanest rip. Take a look at the studio’s phone number. It’s a Chinese cellular number, and yet the studio is located in Jakarta, Indonesia? And on this page, it even still has Tris’ name written on it, but with a Shenzhen address.
Being modest is probably a good thing, and it’s probably a good name for a start, but this is way out of line. Shame on you, Modest-Studio, you fucking piece of shit! And you call yourself a designer?
