Yes, Axindo, the authorized distributor for Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Jabra, Motorola and Imo (International Maritime Organization?!?! Well, whatever this is) is a prick. And thanks to them, Sony Ericsson is about to join my list of you-better-avoid-it products. And here’s why.

This is the picture of what happened to my bluetooth headset yesterday. And yes, it took itself apart just like that. It’s not even a year and yet it matches the speed of a human body decomposing itself six feet under. Frankly, I’m quite surprised seeing this condition on a product from Sony Ericsson. If it’s a Chinese cellphone, I wouldn’t be surprised. But Sony Ericsson? For the record, I only used the headset while driving.

Today, I went to Pondok Indah Mall to claim the warranty for an exchange to a new set, since this thing broke down by itself. Because I bought this headset back in January, that means I still have another month before my warranty runs out. WRONG. According to the Sony Ericsson outlet, their accessories’ exchanges or repairs are handled directly by Axindo. And when the customer rep called them, they said no, the warranty for accessories only lasted for six months. Right, and here’s a piece of the warranty card.

As you can see, it is stated that the warranty is listed for a full year after the purchase. Nice going, Axindo, why don’t you join Esia to suck monkey balls as well?! They like to rip customers for nothing as well, exactly just like you. Prick.
