I paid the 150 thousand seminar fee to Bu Lisna yesterday. I figured that this is a good chance to attend a seminar from one of the world’s top designers. Although I’m not really into Carson’s style, I’d say it’s a rare chance.

Tomorrow I will be attending my first day in the campus. This afternoon, Mrs. Cincin called me again and told me that I will be on the classes of Web-Design, and… Typography 1! So, I’ll be assisting the lecturers on two classes. And since the Web-Design class starts at 7.30 in the morning, I better get some sleep… NOW!

I went to the campus today just to find out that apparently, there are no classes yet. The first class which starts at 9.10 AM turned out to be some kind of a bogus trick. The class was supposed to be held in the room 210, on the E building, which appears to be brand new, and has a double-function as a sitting stage for people to watch basketball games. Anyway, there is no room 210 on the E building, the rooms on the 2nd floor are only up to room number 203. WHAT?!?!!? So I circled around the campus and found no trace of the class so called as “Communication Skill”… (sigh) better luck next week, perhaps…

The second class was Illustration 2, which supposed to start at 12.30 PM. Well, apparently, there are no lecturers yet for the class. As simple as that.

So, that means, I’ve spent 3.5 hours for almost nothing at the campus, besides wandering around at the mall with NyoNyo, Wendho, and Tajo. So much for the first day in campus.

And tomorrow, I won’t be able to go the campus, since I have a printout to be taken care of at Hi Res. And I have to go to SecurPlastik to pick up some ID card manufacturing equipments, and drop by Orion Dusit to get a new printer for the ID Cards… It’s gonna be a long day tomorrow… Phew…

Phew… Tomorrow is the first day for the new semester. So basically I got 4 subjects to attend on 2 days a week. And a day as a lecturer’s assistant for the Web-Design class on Thursdays. Thank God the class starts at 9 PM tomorrow. Not bad =).

Two days ago, I got a call from somebody who is apparently from the campus (Up to this point, I never get to hear her name to be pronounced correctly… Was it Ting Ting? Cing Cing? Heck… I don’t know). Anyway, she told me that she’s the one dealing with the lecturer’s assistant program for the students. And she said that my name was recommended by a friend of mine, to assist Surianto in the Web-Design class.

Of course, since I had a C grade for that class (Surprising, huh?), I was quite confused that she didn’t pick someone else to be the assistant. She even asked me if I want to assist on other classes, namely Sketching and Drawing. I think I’ll skip those, hehehe.

So, this means that I have to wake up very very early in the morning on every Thursday for the next semester. And I’ll be assisting Surianto on teaching my juniors, the class of 2004… I think. Interesting… =)
