Today’s Election
Thursday, April 9, 2009

Today was supposed to be the result of those hellish political campaign weeks, huh? Well, yes. But I doubt it will end with any satisfactory results, at least for me and my friends who share the same opinion. While people are encouraging us to vote, to vote, and to vote today, I personally still think that this whole thing is just an elaborate scam for dumbasses to be able to sit on the house of representatives and dig up some cash.
You may agree or you may disagree with me and my nationalistic and political views on this country, I don’t care, and I still stand by my opinion. Look at how complicated this election is. It is as if it was designed to have flaws and to have people voted for the wrong thing. Just look at the roster board above, and look at how these people have been campaigning themselves. How the fuck should I choose which one to vote?

This is one of the ballot sheets. It’s humongous, it’s pretty tough to handle because of the size, and this is just one of three that we must open, mark, and refold. If educated people are having considerable time just to take this all in, imagine those who cannot read. How the hell do they have to pick which one to vote? My maids, who were with me, Mom, and my sisters earlier at the TPS took two or three times longer than most people, just to open the ballot sheets, look at them and think hard on which one to choose, and to refold those bloody things.
And as an addition, how many people out there were missed out from the registered voter’s list? I think I have at least ten friends that are apparently not registered. This shows how dumb, unprofessional and incompetent the election committee is. And yet, some are still confident to say that we have a better democratic system than the US. Hey, at least the US have only two parties instead of 48, which made things easier for those who cannot read, and hey, they managed to get a hell lot more people to vote this year instead of losing thousands. So if in the end people say “your vote can make a difference”, well, I would still say, I’d rather vote for a monkey.
"We have a better democratic system than the US"? We don't even practice good democracy…ever…in the history of this country! This country is filled with dumb, hypocritical, overconfident, unqualified, money-taking, promise-giving, untrustworthy, wanna-be politicians who can't even face and accept a critic from their people. I pity the good ones (which are almost none) who have to run against these idiots! I also pity those who look-up on them.
Free coffees!! that's why it's better… What's better than free coffees??
Well… maybe free beers would be nicer…
well i was happen to be out of town yesterday so i didn't vote…and so did my sister and her indo' friends here in sydney…why the hell do i have to vote for some guys who came out of nowhere, put their smiley hypocrite face on some banners, which at the end only trashing out our city…it's such a waste of paper man…ga ada gunanya Earth Hour yg dipromo besar2an…listrik dihemat, kertas dibuang2…kenapa ga pake uang cetak banner buat disumbang ke rakyat, dgn gitu pasti rakyat bakal inget siapa yg ngasih…they only need materials to keep their life going…they don't give a damn about any bullsh*t those caleg promises…
I vote for Starbucks for giving me Free Coffees..
